“Unfortunately I’ve just received confirmation from Alex at The Rising Sun that there will be no more music of any kind there, so sadly that will be the end of the Monday Jazz Jam, for the moment anyway. If anyone knows of another suitable local venue, I’d be pleased to hear from them. Meanwhile I’d like to say a very big thank you to the house band, all the jammers and singers and to all those who supported us over the last few months.”
You can reckon on resilient folk like McCunn, Ian Anderson, Geoff and Tom Varrall bouncing back before too long. Good luck!
