I guess I know every note of this album. “You've Got a Friend” pretty much launched James Taylor's career. Not to mention Aretha Franklin's seminal version of “Natural Woman”. Interesting that these tunes live on. Kathleen Willison is also a massive fan of Carole King and has sung many of her tunes including “I Feel the Earth Move”. An amusing but true anecdote is that my husband Max was once asked if he would like to invest in James Taylor. He listened to the recording he was given and said that he did not think the music would catch on….. That was before I knew him!
