Look down on the left for our nine previews, for our four links to the national newspaper coverage, and for a press release from Boris Johnson yesterday about
“Europe’s jazz capital.”
And look up at the world-class Liam Noble, looking down. His Brubeck project is on at the Barbican freestage tomorrow at 6pm.
“Noble has a unique way of completely inhabiting a tune, of communicating from deep inside it, of re-inventing its twists and turns from within it.” (LondonJazz)

The London Jazz Festival is a great event for 10 days and brings in some incredible stuff. I can't bear the choices that have to be made. But we have to remember that places like the Vortex, 606 and Pizza Express have 365 day jazz festivals in London!
I caught part of Liam Noble's set. I found a solo rendering of In Your Own Sweet Way completely mesmerising.
Mike Collins has put up a review on his blog
