Could do a LOT better is the conclusion of a new report from Julia Payne and Adam Jeanes.
Payne and Jeanes are thoughtful. And balanced. But they are also highly critical.
Their report points to big gaps in what the UK does to assist musicians, and a historic, disabling lack of proper co-ordination between the agencies providing assistance to musicians.
