Here at the galactic headquarters of LondonJazz in the basement of KingsPlace, a kind soul has just dropped the new, magazine-style Sep-Dec brochure on my desk. The autumn season here has no fewer than seventeen jazz events, in addition to the free foyer performances by the Spitz collective on Friday evenings.
There will also be a jazz photography exhibition of work by Sefton Samuels
Here are the names
Django Bates 50th birthday gig
F-IRE Collective Large Ensemble
Bad Plus (three concerts in London Jazz Festival)
Sam Leak’s Aquarium
Jason Yarde and Rhythmica
