Birmingham Jazz, thanks to a tide of letters of support, has persuaded Birmingham City Council to reconsider its decision to halve the jazz promoter’s revenue grant.
Tony Dudley-Evans* (who wrote THIS for us about Steve Lehman) and his team operate on a tiny scale, but make a massive contribution to the health and variety of jazz nationally.
