The room will become a  lounge for Marriott Rewards Elite Benefits Cardholders when the hotel re-opens, after a refurb, in May. The full story is on David Hajdu’s New Republic blog, and from Stephen Holden at the New York Times. At the time of writing, the hotel’s website hasn’t caught up. And thank you for the music to Harry Warren, Johnny Mercer, Daryl Sherman and Wycliffe Gordon.
