Nolias 11 is a jazz venue-come-restaurant, open all day but with live music kicking off most nights at 8:30 PM. The venue promises a fusion in everything that it does; the food being both Malaysian and French, the music being jazz (picked because according to their site it is “a music with no rules or boundaries”) and the walls being decorated with diverse artwork (the owner of this family-run business “Mamma Nolia” also owns 3 art galleries in SE1).

For some, 56 Stamford Street may conjure up some bad recent memories. Nolias 11 however, is a completely unconnected new establishment at the address which opened its doors on the 11th of July this year. Reports please

The Alex Hutton Trio (Whose new album Legentis was reviewed HERE) are premiering their new weekly residency there this Friday (the 21st September), in an evening consisting of jazz; but with a distinctly Bach-esque flavour.
