Preview: Vive at London A Cappella Festival Jan 26th

New a cappella group Vive bring their dense vocal harmonies and dynamic performance skills to the London A Cappella Festival (24-26th Jan 2013) at Kings Place (Hall 1) on the 26th January 2012 at 13:45 supporting Canadian Band Retrocity. James Rose, founder of Vive, speaks about their shared enthusiasm for their upcoming performance:

This is an incredible opportunity for Vive, we are so excited to be sharing our message and sound with the rest of the a cappella community. This is Vive’s first birthday as well; the journey has been tough but rewarding. We’ve had fantastic response from the jazz scene over the year – performing alongside Cleo Laine, Jacqui Dankworth and Charlie Wood – but this will be one of our first opportunities to perform to a dedicated a cappella audience.

We will be performing original material and arrangements, including Voices and Your Motivation, by myself and group member Sam Robson respectively, as well as popular numbers such as Lighthouse Family’s High which will feature on our new CD due to be released at the festival in two weeks time!

The London A Cappella Festival (curated by the Swingle Singers and Ikon Arts Management) bring together some of the best vocal talent from all around the world. We are honoured to be invited to perform and hope that Vive’s intimate, harmony-focused, jazzy blend will bring something new to the event. We are definitely looking forward to meeting new friends.

Vive are supporting Canadian a cappella favourites Retrocity, on Saturday 26th January. More of their music is HERE. Tickets range from £9.50 – 21.50 and can be purchased HERE
