Following appearances at the Edinburgh Festival in 2011 and a UK tour in 2012, Nina Kristofferson is bringing her one woman show, The Billie Holiday Story to London’s Charing Cross Theatre for an eight-week run starting April 1st (2013).

The show tells the story of Billie’s life and features songs associated with Billie  Holiday : God Bless The Child, Lover Man, Strange Fruit….

She has previously had an extensively toured – and reviewed – Medea show. The Billie Holiday show has already been reviewed in Guildford by Amy Yorston in the British Theatre Guide “Kristofferson’s intricate fusion of music with drama creates an atmospheric evening.” No info so far on the musicians involved?
