Sonny Rollins three JJA awards from 2012

The 17th Jazz Journalists Association Award Winners (music) are announced today 1st May. Winners include : Maria Schneider, Wayne Shorter Gregory Porter, Wadada Leo Smith, Wycliffe Gordon, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Chris Potter, Bill Frisell, Vijay Iyer, Christian McBride, Regina Carter, Billy Hart and Edmar Castaneda.The winners of Awards for journalism and media will be announced June 19.
