We have just had these four photographs of last night’s opening gig of the Printmakers tour celebrating Nikki Iles’ 50th birthday (tour dates below, and an interview about it HERE). The band was at the Watermill Jazz Club in Dorking, and the photos are from jazz photographer Brian O’ConnorBrian says: “For me the highlights had to be the finale, ‘Highlands’, by Nikki Iles. Incredible wordless singing from Norma Winstone and fabulous ensemble playing…”

…The Paul Simon ballad ‘I do it for Your Love’ was also excellent, a good contrast to some of the up tempo numbers…

… Also, guitarist Mike Walker’s self penned number ‘The Clockmaker’, dedicated to the father of sax player Iain Dixon, was a standout.”
