News: Successful Applicants for Jazz Services Recording Support Scheme 2013

Jazz Services has just announced the first four successful applicants for grants from its Recording Support Scheme 2013 :

Sam Gardner Quartet (Jamil Sheriff, Krzysztof Urbanski, Pete Turner )

ARQ (Alison Rayner Quintet)

Tommy Andrews Quintet

Matt Anderson’s Wild Flower Sextet(Celebrating Wayne Shorter)

Each successful applicant will receive a grant of up to £1,500, plus a Touring Support grant of the same amount, if the band is able to put a tour together compliant with the requirements of the Touring Support scheme within two years of receiving the recording award. The Recording Support Scheme for 2013 is being split into two rounds. Successful applicants for second round will be announced “shortly”, according to JSL’s statement today.
