The Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival (which runs from the 19-28th July) has just announced the full list of artists who will perform over the nine days.
As a curtain-raiser, the night before the official start of the festival, the Brian Kellock Copenhagen Trio will perform on Friday 18th at the Tollbooth in Stirling as part of the Scottish Jazz Expo
There are a total of 146 concerts featuring musicians from six continents, and eleven venues ranging from the smallest – such as the jazz bar in Bristo Place, and the Heriot’s FP Rugby Club in Inverleith – to the largest, the 1,915 capacity Festival Theatre in Nicolson Street, which has four concerts: Jools Holland, Eric Burdon, The Three Bs (Acker Bilk, Chris Barber and, following the death of Kenny, Keith Ball), and Mud Morganfield.
On the 21st, there will be an outdoor carnival on Princes Street and Princes Street Gardens.
