It takes commitment, vision, planning organisation, money, contacts…and much else besides to get the first festival of its kind in the UK off the ground. In the case of the Love Supreme Festival, today till July 9th, it’s all about a radio station and three adjectives:

The radio station is JazzFM, and the adjectives are Neapolitan, led by Ciro Romano who have conceived the project,Ingenious,who have raised the money for it, and Serious – programme consultants

The programme is a varied one, featuring the likes of Soweto Kinch, Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, the Robert Glasper Experiment, Branford Marsalis Quartet, Roller Trio and many more (full programme HERE)
