After a one-year hiatus, Kenwood Concerts are back under new producers.
The closest to jazz is an orchestral Gershwin evening on Sep 1st. Friday 30th is tempting fate, with a screening of Singing in the Rain with an orchestral accompaniment for Nacio Herb Brown’s music. The Booking area has 10% discounts for people from the postal districts around Hampstead Heath.>
The concerts in the 1960s started with classical music, then IMG offered English Heritage better returns, and ran them for a number of years. IMG pulled out, there were also noise complaints, and there was a gap last year. Now the concerts are back with six evenings over two weekends 23-25 Aug and 30 Aug -Sep 1. They’re now under the management of Rouge Events (T & C’s) under the banner LIVE BY THE LAKE
