This year’s Downbeat Readers’ Poll, currently open for voting, has a number of UK-and London-based  nominees listed: I spotted Kenny Wheeler, Evan Parker, Norma Winstone, John Butcher, Peter King,  Ian Shaw, Edition Records and the London Jazz Composers Orchestra (on video here) as I whizzed through it.
