A year ago today, we bought a Zoom recorder and set up a Bandcamp account. Our first interviewee was Laura Jurd – we were doing the press work for her first album.
Since then, Rob Edgar has edited produced and edited nearly fifty sessions. There are links to all of them in the left hand column.
Kim Macari told us that her favourite interview was the one with Mike Gibbs.
The top ten most- listened in alphabetical order are: Julia Biel, Liane Carroll, Nikki Iles, Impossible Gentlemen (Gwilym Simcock and Mike Walker), Soweto Kinch, Laura Jurd, Mark Lockheart, Man Overboard (Thomas Gould and Jean-Marie Fagon), Emma Smith and Anita Wardell.
We have been thrilled to do them, and hope readers enjoy them. And my thanks to Rob who has developed amazingly in just one year as an audio editor. He has also just produced a highly complex podcast: the EFG London Jazz Festival preview which Peter Quinn and I did for The Arts Desk.
