Sebastian interviewed pianist/composer Elliot Galvin about his debut album Dreamland (Chaos Collective)
Elliot Galvin spoke about working as a trio: “We all get on very well. We have similar thoughts about music and art. There’s a real playflness between us, which I think is important”
He talked about:
– Early life and inspirations in Rochester in Kent
– Trinity College/ Trinity Laban which he has been associated with since the age of 14
– The trio with Tom McCredie (bass) and Simon Roth (drums) and the spirit of their collaboration

UPDATE: Immediately after this interview, Galvin performed in the Trinity Laban Gold Medal Showcase, and won the competition, which gives just one award annually. The Gold Medal is “ the most prestigious award for a student musician offered by Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance
