At yesterday’s annual Honours ceremony at the Royal Academy of Music, various figures from – or with strong connections to – the jazz world received honours:

Associates: John Blease, Janek Gwizdala, Sam Mayne, Lucy Railton, Tom Richards

Honorary Associates: Iain Ballamy, Joe Locke, Jon Newey.
