The finalists for this year’s Worshipful Company of Musicians’ Young Jazz Musician Award have been announced. They are:
Moses Boyd (drums)
Misha Mullov-Abbado (bass)
Sam James (piano)
Nadim Teimoori (tenor saxophone – also a finalist in 2012 )
Phil Meadows (alto)
Tom Green (trombone)
The final round will be held on the evening of Sunday 21st September, with the first set at 7.45pm, at Pizza Express Jazz Club in Dean Street.
