The sixth annual Jazz Education Network Conference will be from January 7th-10th 2015 in San Diego, California. The organizers have named Herbie Hancock as the Keynote Speaker at the conference, where he will also be made a “LeJENd of Jazz Education Honoree” (surely they need a better title!). The JEN emerged in 2008 from the ashes of the long-lived International Association of Jazz Educators. It is clearly on a growth path. The story of its resurgence in the past six years is told HERE.
