For those of us who work in the area of Kings Cross. the change in the past few years, the pace at which new buildings have been coming out of the ground has been astonishing. (VIDEO) There are new public spaces, such as Pancras Square, and the businesses there, working with developers Argent, are being imaginative in the quest to get people into the habit of making the area a good place to be on a summer evening.
Bassist Phil Wain has just been in touch about a series of new free gigs he is running outside Notes Coffee in Pancras Square. They start at 6 30 pm and go through til 9 30pm. He says “if the weather’s against us we will move into Notes.” This outdoor series is a first try-out, let’s hope they’ve invented a tradition here..
