BBC Radio 3 Jazz Line-Up invited me in March to start contributing aseries of short features about aspects and locations in the British jazz scene. The fourth of these stories, focusing on the scene in Birmingham, will be broadcast this Saturday October 31st. Jazz Line-Up starts at 5pm. The piece, which will be 19 minutes into the show, contains:
