BBC Music Jazz, the temporary digital radio station has announced the results of the of a poll of BBC Radio and JazzFM listeners. Listeners have been voting for the greatest jazz musician of all time, from a shortlist of 50, and the winner is:

NOTE: BBC Music Jazz is a temporary pop-up radio station for jazz on DAB, and mobile, in collaboration with BBC Radio, Jazz FM and EFG London Jazz Festival from 12 – 15th November.
