Snarky Puppy performed at the Brixton Academy on Friday 5th May 2017. Photographer Monika S. Jakubowska went and caught the atmosphere and the characters. “The place was completely sold out. Becca Stevens started just quietly with a lyrical number accompanying herself on ukelele, and then the crowd went wild for Jacob Collier. The young audience were very responsive, Snarky Puppy seemed amazed to be playing in front of 5,000 people. They started with huge energy… we photographers then had to leave after three numbers.”
