British multi-keyboardist Bill Laurance takes a break from Snarky Puppy with some solo dates over the coming months, including nine in the UK.
Laurance has a new solo album, the fifth release in his own name, due for release on 8 March. It’s called Cables, and he will be including some of that material in the programme for his UK tour dates. They are:
28 March: The Stables, Milton Keynes – tickets
29 March: Queen Elizabeth Hall, London – tickets
30 March: Saffron Hall, Saffron Walden – tickets
3 April: The Music Room, Liverpool Philharmonic, Liverpool – tickets
4 April: Leeds College of Music, Leeds – tickets
5 April: Manchester Stoller Hall, Manchester – tickets
6 April: The Sage 2, Gateshead – tickets
27 April: Warwick Arts Centre, Warwick – tickets
7 May: St George’s, Bristol – tickets
Classically trained and a professional musician since the age of 14, Bill Laurance is a founding member of Snarky Puppy. In addition to recording and touring with that group he has worked extensively in the dance world with companies including Ballet Rambert, English National Ballet and choreographer Matthew Bourne, and has also written for film.
