“Since we were obliged to close in March I have been busy setting up a new Online Club that features unique Concert length Videos, Audio and very shortly Live Streaming as well, all under the one roof. For an annual subscription of just £12.95, a little over £1/month, you will have access to the best in Jazz, Groove, Blues, Latin, Indie, Singer/songwriter and more, including the likes of Hamish Stuart, Tony O’Malley, Salena Jones, Gil Evans, Barb Jungr, Jim Mullen… Unlike most other online streaming platforms all the Pay to View fees will go directly to the musicians, so you will be supporting the many artists whose videos are featured at the same time as you watch and listen.
With the Club closed and no idea when we will be able to reopen, this new initiative is critical to the 606’s survival and at the same time will provide desperately needed financial support for many of the musicians involved in these videos.
Over the last several months many of you have approached me to ask how they could help. This has been both enormously appreciated and very encouraging and the answer to that question is now: please purchase a membership to our unique Online site and encourage others to do so as well. This will not only give you unparalleled access to many hours of great content (which we will be adding to constantly), but will also help see us through to better times.
