German Jazz Prize 2023: Nominees Announced

The nominees in 27 of the 31 categories (*) of the third edition of the German Prize are announced. The Awards Ceremony will be at the jazzahead! trade fair in Bremen on 27 April. Each winner will receive not just a trophy but also a 10,000 Euro prize.

  1. Wonderful to read that list. then the heart sinks for woeful cultural neglect in UK…lucky if you get a very modest plaque to take home and a night out with mouthful of talk wine and snacks on parliament house thames patio. At least, good on those few parliamentarians with their ears and hearts in right place.
